Bitdefender unveils upgrades to partner & MSP programmes

Yesterday

Bitdefender has announced several updates to its Partner Advantage Network and Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program aimed at supporting revenue growth and streamlining engagement for partners in Australia, New Zealand, and globally.

The updates feature the launch of a new Platinum partner tier, a simplified deal registration process, and expanded access to advanced security solutions through the Not-for-Resale (NFR) programme.

Andrei Florescu, President and General Manager of Bitdefender Business Solutions Group, said, "Bitdefender continues to invest in building long-term value for reseller and MSP partners by delivering an easier, more profitable path to growth. Our program enhancements reflect the voice of our partner community and reaffirm our commitment to recognising excellence, simplifying engagement, and accelerating success across the global channel."

The Bitdefender Partner Advantage Network operates as a multi-tiered programme, distinguishing between resellers and MSPs, and rewarding partners as they grow their involvement and performance. The programme supports both product and service specialisation, allowing partners to focus on their primary strengths.

Partners have access to Bitdefender's full suite of business security solutions, such as endpoint protection including Extended Detection and Response (XDR), cloud-native security, Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and the new GravityZone Proactive Hardening and Attack Surface Reduction (PHASR) solution. PHASR is described as the industry's first endpoint security product to dynamically tailor hardening to each user.

The new Platinum tier has been created to recognise and support top-performing resellers and MSPs. According to Bitdefender, this tier grants exclusive access to additional benefits, including dedicated support and joint go-to-market opportunities, helping these organisations further position themselves as trusted security advisors within their markets.

The Not-for-Resale (NFR) programme has also been substantially enhanced. MSPs now have access to MDR for internal use and demonstrations, alongside the rest of Bitdefender's security portfolio, including XDR. Bitdefender states that this advantage will help partners improve their expertise and deliver more in-depth demonstrations for customers. Allocation of NFR devices is now determined by partner tier to ensure a fair distribution across reselling and MSP partners.

Bitdefender has also updated the deal registration workflow for channel resellers, with the aim of reducing administrative workload and shortening sales cycles. The new process removes the need for detailed product configuration at the registration phase and does not require re-approval if elements of a deal are modified, enabling greater flexibility for partners.

The Partner Advantage Network also offers a variety of incentives to promote partner growth, including competitive profit margins, joint go-to-market opportunities, comprehensive training resources, lead generation tools, and a centralised portal for deal visibility and resource management.

David Andrade, President of StoredTech, commented on Bitdefender's partnership approach, stating, "Bitdefender offers a broad range of advanced cybersecurity solutions for the most critical and in-demand areas, including endpoint protection, cloud security, managed detection and response (MDR), and attack surface reduction. They are a trusted, capable partner in helping us protect our business customers against constantly evolving threats. What sets Bitdefender apart is not only their leading-edge technology and innovations, but also the high level of support that strengthens our ability to build and foster long-term client relationships."

Bitdefender emphasises that these enhancements are based on partner feedback and are intended to simplify engagement and improve partner success prospects in a rapidly changing security landscape.
