Forrester names Dynatrace top in AIOps platforms for 2025

Today

Dynatrace has been named a leader in The Forrester Wave: AIOps Platforms, Q2 2025 report, following an evaluation by Forrester of ten AIOps providers across 26 criteria.

The report scored Dynatrace the highest in the 'Current Offering' category among all evaluated vendors.

The company's recognition highlights its continued push to help enterprises manage increasingly complex digital environments through advanced AI and automation capabilities.

In its assessment, Forrester praised Dynatrace's Davis AI engine, stating: "Dynatrace's Davis AI engine delivers precise root cause analysis and automated remediation, continuously mapping dependencies in dynamic cloud environments for unparalleled observability."

"Clients that want to lead their peers by embracing the changes that IT operations must make with AI, proactive engagement, and unified platforms should choose Dynatrace."

Earlier in 2025, Dynatrace expanded its AIOps capabilities to support faster problem resolution and to help organisations take a more preventive approach to system management.

According to the company, these enhancements allow teams to adopt proactive remediation strategies, enabling them to avoid issues before they arise.

The updated Davis AI engine now supports operationalisation of best practices and can recommend resolution paths. According to Dynatrace, this development pushes enterprises "beyond reactive AIOps to true preventive operations," supporting more reliable application delivery, improved operational resilience, and faster innovation cycles.

Steve Tack, Dynatrace's Chief Product Officer, said: "Dynatrace combines advanced AI and automation with end-to-end observability to help organisations proactively manage their complex cloud-native and AI-native environments. Our platform enables teams to analyse, automate, and innovate faster."

"With advanced AI, automation, and observability capabilities from Dynatrace, our customers are empowered to accelerate their digital transformation and drive the successful adoption of new technologies, including AI and LLMs, while also managing associated multicloud complexity at scale," Tack added.

Dynatrace's AIOps offering continues to stand out in the market with its integrated ability to provide self-healing and auto-remediation features. These include automatic security vulnerability detection and system self-optimisation, which the company says helps organisations run their environments more efficiently.

The platform is also designed to offer insights into business operations and AI-related initiatives, enabling customers to accurately assess return on investment and identify optimisation opportunities.

The report cites high customer satisfaction with Dynatrace's capabilities, particularly in enabling teams to move beyond traditional monitoring approaches. By integrating AI across observability functions, Dynatrace supports automation that can help reduce operational risks and improve service quality.

Forrester notes that it does not endorse any particular vendor or product included in its research publications. Its findings are based on available resources and expert judgment at the time of publication.
