Genetec unveils Cloudlink 210 for seamless security upgrade

Genetec has launched Cloudlink 210, a cloud-managed appliance supporting video management, access control, and intrusion management in a single device.

The Cloudlink 210, a new addition to the Genetec Cloudlink series, is the first appliance in the industry to handle multiple security workloads. This multi-workload device facilitates security management by consolidating essential functions, allowing organisations to achieve their security objectives with a single, scalable solution.

Designed for hybrid environments in Security Center SaaS, the Cloudlink 210 serves as a cybersecure link between on-premises and cloud systems. Instead of requiring the replacement of existing infrastructure, its open architecture allows existing cameras and access control systems to connect to the cloud. This offers a more cost-effective and practical route for organisations updating their physical security operations.

The device simplifies deployment and management with a user-friendly touchscreen interface, enabling users to easily access and manage function, view device statuses, and check network settings. The single device handles all facets from enrolment to maintenance without necessitating additional apps or devices.

Featuring provisions for scalability, the Cloudlink 210 adapts to the evolving needs of expanding organisations. It is a compact edge device that can be installed in a range of locales and enclosures; it can also be rack-mounted to scale up performance and storage when multiple units are involved.

As a cloud-managed appliance, the Cloudlink 210 automates updates to firmware and software. This continuous updating ensures the latest advancements and security enhancements are always in place, thereby decreasing the maintenance burden while supporting efficient remote management and monitoring.

The Genetec Cloudlink 210 will be accessible worldwide through Genetec's accredited channel partners starting in May 2025.
