Intelliworx hires Jeremy Mumford to boost UK expansion plan

Today

Intelliworx has appointed Jeremy Mumford as its new Chief Revenue Officer as part of its global expansion strategy.

Jeremy Mumford joins Intelliworx from software-as-a-service backup provider Keepit, where he served as Vice President for UK & Ireland. In his new role, Mumford will concentrate on expanding Intelliworx's business operations in the UK and enhancing the company's data integrity offerings. He will be based in London and will report directly to Managing Director Shane Maher.

The recruitment of Mumford comes as the company experiences accelerated growth in 2024, alongside a rising emphasis among mid-market businesses on data integrity and cybersecurity. This move also aligns with several recent senior leadership adjustments in the company.

In December, Blake Jeffrey was promoted from General Manager - Australia to Chief Operating Officer, marking the first instance of a cyber specialist managing the company's global operations. At the same time, Juliana Rixen-Capo was appointed as Head of Marketing to drive global marketing strategies. Additionally, Joy Johnson was promoted in July to oversee client services and operations in the UK and US.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the UK technology sector, Mumford has also led the sales division at OnApp and worked with leading tech companies, Dell Technologies and Hewlett Packard.

Managing Director Shane Maher expressed enthusiasm over Mumford's appointment, stating: "We're thrilled to welcome Jerry to the Intelliworx team. With his extensive industry experience, we're confident Jerry will help drive significant growth across our global offices within the next 12-24 months."

Maher highlighted the importance of the UK market stating, "The UK in particular continues to be a very important market for us and a key pillar in our global growth strategy. In 2025 we're looking to differentiate ourselves within the MSP space, particularly around data integrity and back-ups, given today's ever shifting cybersecurity landscape."

Jeremy Mumford commented on his new role and the opportunity with Intelliworx, saying he is eager to enhance its UK presence and further its reputation in the Australian market: "Intelliworx has developed a great offering and I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead in building that out globally."

He added, "There is a great opportunity for businesses in the channel who can provide a differentiated offering, and this is something Intelliworx has established with significant success. Our aim is to build on this success and take Intelliworx to the next level in its global growth journey over the next few years."
